And one more thing..... what was it???
On Sunday, September 26, the HyperBots met to discuss the pros and cons of two different kinds of robots. Ideas for improvements on our next robot design included size - like if we need to make it smaller or bigger to perform specific tasks, stability - we need to make it stable so it doesn't fall over or do wheelies, swivel wheels & regular wheels - specific tasks may need a specific wheel to turn us in the right direction and there is one more thing...... I can't remember it, but if you remember, please add a comment! :o)

9-12-10 Sunday Afternoon Meeting
Today we had our second meeting since the September 3rd First Lego League Kick-Off party. When we got there, we watched Jan illustrate how to program a robot to follow a line. As it turns out, this is a pretty tricky process. Also, we had received a new package of lego parts. Included, are some cool three inch wheels! So, we made a robot that looks like a wheel chair.... IT WAS SO COOL! Rachael built some lego men that have both sad and happy faces. Ian built a differential gear box. William built a big bumper that looks alot like a snow plow. Our meeting lasted an hour longer today, fueled by some soda and chips!

Getting Started
Stay tuned... we are just learning about blogging and website design. We will update the blog as often as possible and may change the design often as we learn how to operate the site and discover our design preferences.
Here are some pictures from our first couple of meetings. The first two weeks were spent geting to know each other and building the table.
